| High rake in euros, tax for every pot and now they will even tax the players winnings in addition. Why are they so greedy and taking away any fun. People just wanna play a bit of poker and dont want to be robbed.
Austria has a gov runned site with 2.5% rake and everyone is happy.
But hey, vive la France, la grande nation. | |

| Frenchies have to pay by far the highest rake (+tax) in the online poker world. For serious grinders and for any person with a brain all french sites are a no go. | |

| I was a small winner at NL 100 at a com pokersite and had a very good RB deal. Cause I played some decent volume I was able to cash out about 3 k every month.
Even the players at Stars.fr are weak and due to a incredible number of suck outs I'm losing money now. Paying nearly double the normal rake is just horrible.
Due to the vip system at Stars where you have to put in a lot of hands, combined with a longer bad run and the high rake, it's just not worth to play there.
Software is good, customers service too, but I'm not playing poker to make Stars and the french gov rich, so I just stopped playing there.
If you complain about the high rake at "normal", com sites play some hands at the french sites. lol lol lol
Not the way to treat players Stars and Sarko, hope u both will fail in the future. | |

| Most of the players are in the micros and small stakes.
Rake and tax will kill most of them, even if they are small winning players. If you look at poker like a hobby and you dont care about loosing your roll even as a winner go for stars.fr
If you dont want to be milked like a stupid cow stay away. | |

| This is one of the worsts sites to play. The rake is huge and unheard in the business - 7.5% up to 1.5euro for HU play, 2.5 for 3-4 players and 3 for 5-9.
The only games that can be played profitably are the highest limits and they don't exist there.
This site makes money for the french goverment who rapes his own people. They made a law to forbid the french to play anywhere else and are rake-raping them now.
Plese don't play at this site - boycot the greedy french government. | |

| I'm pretty sure french online poker will die on its own.
The game requires weaker players for the stronger players to survive. The high rake and the tax will kill weaklings very fast. I'm sure the sites will not find enough new players to deposit again and again, so a natural healthy cycle is not given.
It's like killing off the bottom of the food chain and watching the predators at the top go extinct.
Same for every french site, not only Stars. | |
