| Using Bitcoins (with quick deposits and quick payouts) IS the reason to play. The other majors that I have played on FullTilt (before and after the shutdown) and Partypoker are just a pain to withdraw funds.
Great site! Works well just need more polish (like the big sites).
I've been playing on the site since Oct 2012.
American players should rejoice as they can play and not have the IRS breathing down their throat!

-- all Bitcoin poker only

| Seals with Clubs is an innovative solution to the hypocrisy of current U.S. practices regarding the transfer of money to and from internet poker sites.
Moving Bitcoins on and off the site is very fast and very easy. Many players (myself included) transfer most or all of their funds off the site every night. That ability alone solves most of the problems associated with playing internet poker on other sites.
There are no ID requirements. You do not need ID to create an account, to make a deposit, or to make withdrawals. You do not need to identify yourself at all. Ever.
The site management is refreshingly responsive and helpful.
The players are typically good but not expert.
The negatives are the relatively small number of players (but they are increasing), and the challenge of purchasing Bitcoins at another site. Most people buy from one of the major Bitcoin exchanges on the internet, but there are better solutions in my opinion. If you are reasonably street-smart you can buy Bitcoins face-to-face. Check your local Craigslist or perhaps https://localbitcoins.com/
Transferring Bitcoins (often internationally) is similar to sending an email. It is very fast and very inexpensive.
Most U.S. players who try Seals with Clubs do not leave. They won't leave unless the legal situation changes dramatically in the U.S.

| So far have had a great time on seals. Have not had any problems and cashouts in under 12 hrs lets me just take my most of my chips out when im not playing.

no waiting for months to get my money back like full tilt
Maybe I'm biased because I just won 44 coins in the past week for over five hundred USD cash back but I know when I see a good site with good communication and good service so I will keep playing there for good. I don't like it when they make me go through the hoops of emails and other bullsh-- so I play there now for all of this year with good results playing aginst donkeys and fish | |

| Seals is a great online poker site specially for players in the US or other limited markets. Cashouts are advertised to take ~12h but usually happen within a "couple of hours".
Considering that this is a very "young" poker site Seals has (so far) lived up to their promises and are operating a very transparent site with great communication between players and management.
I highly recommend giving it a swing! | |

| all poker sites should use bitcoin! love the anonymity and security of it all. fast and easy deposits and cashouts with bitcoin address. wish there were more bigger buyin players. great rake structure and rebates. anyway, u get the point, nothing bad to say, kudos to Sealswithclubs! we trust u Micon! | |

| Seals with Clubs is a response to Black Friday. Bitcoins are a anonymous, secure, encrypted monetary currency. They can be transferred over the internet instantly, so payouts take hours not weeks.
The software on the site needs some work. You can play without downloading client software, although client software is available, but without all the bells and whistles of the bigger sites. The rake is also lower than all the other sites.
I would say the site is in beta development and needs to hire a team to upgrade the software, although improvements are happening. | |

| Seals is a pretty good option for recreational players in the US.
Long term stability and exchangeability of btc are real questions but for the time being it's a legitimate option.
The community of players is small but growing slowly. There's a decent amount of table talk and the quality of play is generally recreational. There's plenty of short-handed play, which is great for action.
The software itself is nice for a Web-based solution. They currently offer LHE, NLH, PLO, PLO8 and LO8 games. Customer service is quick to respond to any queries and in my experience they have always been courteous, professional and helpful.
