I left DoylesRoom after they launched their new software. It was worse than horrible. Then when these guys took over i assumed it was just a name change kind of thing. I started to give it another look at the beginning of January. Glad i did. software has improved (the old software didn't make any sense and was bought to navigate but the new software is laid out nicely). speed is decent, but could be improved. definitely better than how it was before though. guarantees are jumping, promos are really nice.

Only made a $50 deposit because you never know with these American sites. I steamrolled it into a few hundred and was able to withdraw, no problem. Took less than a week to have my cash in hand, too.

Giving it 8/10. still room for improvements, but definitely one of the better american sites.

Title:not rigged?0 out of 0 readers found this review helpful

any fool shouting so loud that online poker is not rigged, must be completely ignorant,
if you can read , history has proven several times that big sites itself were cheating, then there are thousands of examples of bots, and houseplayers getting caught,
and off course common sense.
Can you calculate odds. then you should know it is tweaked for rake.

KEEP ON DREAMING FOOL!

they do want your $50 too, like the hungry dogs they are

Title:Follow up8 out of 16 readers found this review helpful

I wrote a review in early Nov about the site's possible superusers and wanted to go into more detail. In the cash games, I see the same players loot the whole table then leave. I'm constantly getting outplayed after the flop. I admit I'm not an expert player, but it kills me that I get picked off every fing time by certain players who play the same. When I have a monster hand they fold and when I'm weak they move in.

I'm down 40 buy ins. Maybe it's variance and I'm being a sore loser. Or maybe this site's looting Americans

Title:they let you win in the begin.7 out of 15 readers found this review helpful

never play on this site, cause they let you win in the begin. After that you will only deposited they still give you good hands like aa ak kk qq but you will all lose against sh--tie hands even when you go all in before the flop. And when you play a tournament against big stacks you always loose.

Title:Worse than playing slot machines6 out of 13 readers found this review helpful

I tend to try new poker sites and networks once in a while and so AmericasCardroom was my recent try. I submitted $60 and played for a couple of weeks. The number of bad beats was above average when compared to other sites I play at. I am a tight aggressive player, so I do not play sh-- cards pre flop very often. And this site was more-less like playing slot machines. It gets you down, just to get you back up. I see the primary goal is to keep you playing more and more, just to make you pay them rake but not make a profit.

I lost much of the initial cash I submitted. When I was all the way down with only $2 left in my account, I suddenly started winning. I could call almost anything, the system was in my favor. When I reached $60 again, the situation turned around, and the system would get me down again to as little as $8. And then back up to $67... and so on. When this happened a couple of times, I decided to stop playing and now I hope to get my money withdrawn from the account.

As for the software, it's slow and unstable. Many SnG single table tournaments didn't even start despite the fact that the required number of players have registered. The tournament just dissapeared and the buyin was refunded. I reported this "bug" but there was no help.

And when it comes to SnG tourneys, the traffic is pretty much poor.

Title:Bad Move4 out of 6 readers found this review helpful

This was a bad move by Doyles Room, they should have gone solo rather..

Gambling911 claims that Doyle Brunson has “reluctantly” decided to “terminate my endorsement contract with DoylesRoom.com

DoylesRoom management has decided to continue to serve US customers. Although they believe they have the right to market the name DoylesRoom and to use my name and likeness for a period of time, I have asked them not to.” Brunson also reiterated his ‘aspirations” to re-enter the online poker biz if/when the US passes pro-poker legislation. Brunson has yet to issue any confirmation of this statement on his ordinarily active Twitter feed.
