| Title: | interface design makes Tilt rise to the top | 16 out of 36 readers found this review helpful | |

| Full Tilt is the best overall site, mostly due to its software. But the player rewards program is also top notch. You won't find better rewards at a US-friendly site unless you rake at least $3,000 per month.
Table layout and configuration options are ample. Availability and operation of the time bank and alerts is perfect. You have plenty of time for decisions, but will rarely find someone else slowing your tables down. There are many convenience features, like using the mouse scroll wheel to adjust bet sizing. Placement of table information - pot size, etc. - is very well done. Free cards, table felts, seats, backgrounds, etc., are all readily available so you can customize your experience, whether you want fancy designs or a Spartan design suitable for instant info recognition while playing many tables. There are low-cost complete modification packages with very fine designs available as well. Every single one of these things is better than the second-best site, Poker Stars.
Poker Stars is stubborn and less interested in listening to their players. Only when improvements are glaringly obviously "stellar" does Stars respond within a few months (like when Full Tilt implemented auto-topoff of your stack at cash tables). The programmers at Stars are more effective at implementing ideas quickly and reliably, but the design people at Full Tilt are the best, so Full Tilt is always way ahead.
The points store is somewhat unimpressive. Delivery times for items I ordered ranged from 3 to 9 weeks. But there are soft tournaments you can use your points to enter. Notably, miniFTOPS, but you can enter the big Sunday tournament too if you need to consume tons of points regularly.
When the FTOPS tournament series runs, the cash games get a bit softer. Likewise, with various other promotions like Take 2. It's not like Party Poker circa 2003, but they are putting in a good effort to keep the games lively. Blind levels in tournaments and other features make sense. You can tell that the poker pros who indirectly control Full Tilt have a positive influence.
I've only needed customer service twice (validating my ID, and increasing the max tables I can play). Both times CS acted within 2-3 hours and was effective.
I've played for cash on Party/skins, Stars, Paradise, Absolute, Ultimate, Minted, and Tilt. Also, checked out the software at Ongame and some others.

| just to say that full tilt HAPPY HOUR is just one of the full tilt imposture
after i collected nearly 2000 FTP after 4 months of play, they say to me that their fuc.... happy hour do not count towards release of my first deposit bonus and 30% of collected points are not bonus but only regular points,so beware
of course they never write that on their site, and now they tell me that I am crazy for asking them to explain me their maths
and this weekend they launched sitngo madness
you want to know how 97off stands vs 10 10
or AK vs KQ
or how your AKs all in got called by AJoff and get split pot
or how ten times you got called with a flush draw and EVERY time the flush came
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
just go to full tilt and practice your nerves, because this so called poker site is close to poker site as a hockey is close to ballet
it is just legalized mob which is making lot of money and laughing in our face
all they can say to you is a legendary sentence IT IS A POKER
yes it is, it is setup poker
i fell for their marketing, but i advice to all that are thinking of giving your money to them to think not twice but 55 times
if you think i am just bad looser, try it yourself, and let me know of your jolly experience
amen | |

| Title: | Its a great site... Unless you want costumer support or wanna cashout. | 8 out of 18 readers found this review helpful | |

| Never use this site. If you wanna cash out they require you to email them a copy of your Drivers license or other comparable ID. What, you mean you want me to email a copy of my ID to a company that doesn't list it's phone number or it's physical address! Why would I trust them not to steal/sell my identity? Great site... unless you want your $500, thanks for nothing!
USE POKERSTARS... At least they let you cash out. Plus as a bonus they have costumer service! | |

| Title: | Very good - if it wasn't for one thing | 4 out of 9 readers found this review helpful | |

| I love almost everything about Full Tilt ...
* The software is top notch
* You can get 27% rakeback if you go via an affiliate ( you can get that even if you miss the chance of starting your account via an affiliate ), rake is OK too for me as a tournament player 2+0.25 (12.5% rake), 5+0.5 (10% rake), for headsup there is even 6+0.25 (4.2% rake)
* there are many different poker games
* the traffic is very good
... etc , etc
But still my advice would for a good poker player to go somewhere else to play for most of your money, go to Entraction, Ongame, Boss and you will see a huge difference in ROI in the long run ...
I would personally probably play at Full Tilt all the time if it wasn't for the fact that I actually believe the site is RIGGED ...
------
Many of you will stop reading at this point since you think that I am a fool and just a player who generally sucks ...
NO, I do not suck as a poker player, I got 40% ROI at another site, I got more than 30% ROI at Omaha at Full Tilt too (it's hard to lose at Omaha if you know what you do) ... look me up at sharkscope ...
YES, I am aware that there are a bit better opponents at Full Tilt than at most other sites ...
I'm far from a fool , I have studied mathematics, statistics and computer science for 3.5 years at the University ... I have a bachelor of science mathematics and was very close to taking my master when I got a job instead and right now I'm working as a software developer for a major bank in my country ...
I have read many poker books, Harringtons books on Holdem, some Sklansky, Jeff Hwangs books on Omaha etc and I can play poker quite well ...
How do they rig the games without getting caught ?
Well most poker hands never go to showdown, that's the key thing !
That means you will never have a complete material to analyze ...
If you call it down you will be a loser, if you don't call it down you will never see what made you fold ... that is the key concept ...
With the fact that so few hands go to showdown and even then they could just say, well there are a million people playing here, SOME are bound to run below their equity ... how easy would it be to prove anything at all ... impossible ...
When you commit more and more to a pot you only have to be given hands you will lose with 25% more than you statistically should to subtract from your winnings ...
It's OK if you don't believe me, but please, If you consider yourself a good poker player, for your own sake do this experiment, play at another site, for example Entraction, Ongame, Boss simultaneously, that's enough, I'll stop rambling now ...
They let you win up to a point then they want to distribute a bit of your winnings to some players who can't .... | |

| Title: | AVOID this setup oraganization | 4 out of 9 readers found this review helpful | |
| |
| 3 sitngos
3 all ins
all in on turn
set of 3 against two pairs JJ 10 10 80% - 8% what comes on river? J
all in preflop QQ vs A4s 40%-20% whats the flop? AA4
all in preflop AA got called by natural talent Q10off no need to say that Q and 10 came
if all that happens in 90 minutes it CANT be random
just CANT
you call me a bad looser,or one who cant take "bad beat"
but this site is doing everything to suck your money out,and they are not having a single cent of me for sure
i have played there for 4 months,and i quit
it makes no sense to watch them making fool of me
i DO know poker and i DO know maths, and this kind of setup is just not funny
