Weekly Online Poker Traffic Update
11/16/2008

Traffic rose a half-percent this week, building on last week's substantial gains. The International Poker Network (IPN) continued to attract players, posting a 17% increase and moving into a solid seventh position ahead of CakePoker and Svenska Spel. Microgaming suffered a 4% drop in the wake of reports that the entire network is no longer accepting new US players.

Top Of The Charts

The top 6 ranked sites kept their positions this week. This makes 32 consecutive weeks without a change in the top 6 spots.

Other Movers

CakePoker Network and PacificPoker each moved up one spot from last week, while Svenska Spel and Microgaming Network each slid down one position.

Year Over Year

The worldwide online poker market continues to grow, albeit at a more moderate pace than in recent years. Total cash game traffic is estimated to have increased nearly 19% in the past year.
