Online poker traffic rose fractionally this week after three straight weeks of losses. Seven of the top 10 sites and networks showed a gain for the week.
PacificPoker was the standout performer, with traffic increasing 25% in just one week. Parent company 888 has launched a series of promotions recently, which could account for the steep rise.
Full Tilt Poker is experiencing a resurgence in the popularity of fast-paced variant Rush Poker. The latest data shows 25% of all players on the site are playing Rush Poker, up from 22% last week. The game's popularity was not enough to boost Full Tilt Poker's traffic, however. The site has lost ground in six of the last seven weeks.
