Alan Keating<\/span><\/a> hat bei High Stakes Poker mal wieder f\u00fcr den Moment gesorgt, \u00fcber den alle reden – diesmal allerdings nicht im positiven Sinne. Der Hustler-Casino-Live-Star bluffte mit 4-High \u00fcber eine Million Dollar in den Pot und scheiterte spektakul\u00e4r gegen Sam „Senor Tilt“ Kiki. Die Hand ging als zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfter Pot in der Geschichte der Show in die B\u00fccher ein.<\/span><\/p>\n

Einen Tag nach dem Hero Call kam die Pleite<\/span><\/h2>\n

Die Ironie: Nur einen Tag zuvor hatte Keating mit fast der gleichen Hand gegen Doug Polk brilliert. Mit 4\u26602\u2660 callte er Polks All-in am River und sackte 657.000 Dollar ein – ein Hero Call, der durchs Netz ging. Am Sonntag versuchte er sein Gl\u00fcck mit 4\u26663\u2660, doch diesmal lief’s anders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Hand begann harmlos genug. Bei $200\/$400 Blinds und einem $6.400 Straddle raiste Kiki mit A\u26665\u2666 auf 30.000 Dollar. Keating callte mit seinen 4\u26663\u2660 – nichts Ungew\u00f6hnliches f\u00fcr einen Spieler, der f\u00fcr seinen 70-prozentigen VPIP bekannt ist. Der Flop brachte A\u26635\u2665K\u2660, und Kiki traf Two Pair.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nach einem Check von Kiki feuerte Keating 40.000 Dollar. Kiki check-raiste auf 125.000 Dollar. Keating, der bereits 323.000 Dollar im Pot sah und komplett tot war, callte trotzdem. Die 2\u2660 am River \u00e4nderte nichts. Kiki checkte und stellte die Falle. Keating schob All-in f\u00fcr 446.300 Dollar – mit 4-High. Kiki snap-callte und gewann einen Pot \u00fcber 1,295 Millionen Dollar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keating bleibt entspannt<\/span><\/h2>\n

„Senor Tilt“ twitterte danach sp\u00f6ttisch von seiner „neuen Investmentimmobilie“, die Keating ihm finanziert habe. Doch allzu gro\u00dfe Sorgen um Keatings Bankroll muss man sich nicht machen. Nach der Hand zog er einfach eine Million Dollar aus der Tasche und kaufte nach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der 39-J\u00e4hrige aus Michigan gilt als einer der polarisierendsten Spieler der High-Stakes-Szene. Mit einem gesch\u00e4tzten Verm\u00f6gen von \u00fcber 500 Millionen Dollar (laut Garrett Adelstein) kann er sich solche Ausrutscher leisten. Seine Livestream-Bilanz ist allerdings verheerend: Fast 3 Millionen Dollar Minus bei einem durchschnittlichen Verlust von knapp 30.000 Dollar pro Stunde \u00fcber 97 aufgezeichnete Stunden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mehr als nur Action-Spieler<\/span><\/h2>\n

Trotzdem untersch\u00e4tzen viele Keating. Poker-Coach Marc Goone analysierte \u00fcber 100 Stunden seines Spiels und kam zu einem \u00fcberraschenden Ergebnis: „Die meisten denken, er ist ein Whale – und genau das will er auch. Aber unter dem Chaos steckt knallharte Logik.“<\/span><\/p>\n

Keating h\u00e4lt sogar den Rekord f\u00fcr den gr\u00f6\u00dften Pot in der High Stakes Poker-Geschichte: 1,412 Millionen Dollar gegen Peter Wang im M\u00e4rz 2025, als seine Pocket Kings gegen Wangs Flush-Draw hielten – zweimal hintereinander beim Run-it-Twice.<\/span><\/p>\n
