Our Ignition Poker review will show you everything from games, rake, promotions, and bonuses to payment options and help you maximize your winnings from the site.

Ignition Poker History

Licensed in Curaçao and Anjouan, Ignition Poker offers you some of the fastest withdrawals we’ve ever seen.

With five possible cryptocurrency options to choose from, you’re guaranteed to receive your funds within hours.

Ignition Poker App

Even if you use the Ignition Poker app or download the desktop software, you’ll find the software intuitive and user-friendly.

You can even hit the many different Hold’em and Omaha cash game tables directly in your browser, with no specialist software or apps.

Competitive Ignition Poker Rake

The rates of Ignition Poker rake are in line with most other sites. Tournaments usually carry a 10% fee, though higher-stakes Sit & Gos are reduced to just 5%.

For No Limit and Pot Limit cash games, you’ll pay one cent for every 20 in the final pot. But, the cap depends on the number of players and the exact stakes:

No. of PlayersStakes Up To $0.10/$0.25Stakes Higher Than $0.10/$0.25
2$0.50 cap$1 cap
3$1 cap$2 cap
4$1 cap$3 cap
5$2 cap$3 cap
6+$2 cap$4 cap

Fixed Limit games are also raked at one cent for every 20, but the cap varies greatly. At stakes of $0.05/$0.10, the maximum rake is just 10 cents. This increases to 20, 40, 50 and $1 as the stakes increase to $1.00/$2.00.

For anything above $1.00/$2.00, the maximum depends on the number of players in the pot:

  • 2-3: $1 cap
  • 4-5: $2 cap
  • 6+: $3 cap

You can qualify for up to $3,000 in welcome bonuses once you complete the Ignition Poker login process.

But this figure is split equally between the Ignition casino and poker room. In reality, that means a maximum poker registration bonus of $1,500.

Ignition Poker Promo Code

There’s no special Ignition Poker promo code required to claim it. Once you make your first deposit with cryptocurrency, you’ll automatically get the bonus.

If you prefer to fund your account with a more traditional payment method, there’s a smaller reward of 200% up to $2,000.

Ignition Poker Rakeback

Unfortunately, there is no dedicated Ignition Poker rakeback program. The closest thing you’ll find is the Ignition Rewards loyalty scheme.

Regularly visit our Ignition Poker review as we’ll update it promptly should an Ignition Poker rakeback become available in the future.

How to Claim Ignition Rakeback

As mentioned earlier in our Ignition Poker review, there is no direct rakeback program.

To claim a refund on the rake paid during Ignition online poker games, you’ll need to find a third-party rakeback site.

The Ignition Rewards program is as close as you’ll get to a direct rakeback payout. Earn Ignition Miles as you play, which can later be traded for real money.

The starting rate is 2,500 points for $1, but this increases as you climb the loyalty ladder.

Ignition Review The Rewards page of an Ignition account

Ignition Rewards

Like most poker loyalty programs, Ignition Rewards issues points as you play. These are known as “Ignition Miles” and can be exchanged for real money at a rate of 2,500 to $1.

As soon as you download Ignition Poker, you’ll be automatically enrolled into the program at the Steel level. There are a further seven tiers available, all of which offer increasingly favorable exchange rates.

Expert Tip

If you’re interested in sites offering direct rakeback programs, read our CoinPoker review and learn about its extremely competitive 33% rakeback deal.

Ignition Poker Bonuses

You should always look for the best poker bonuses online. That’s why this segment of our Ignition Poker review will be the most important for you.

Here, we’ll dive into the various poker bonuses and promotions.

$2,500 Rewards Freerolls

Once you reach the Chrome level of the Ignition Poker online rewards program, you’ll be eligible to play in weekly Ignition Poker freeroll tournaments.

These feature $2,500 prizepools and run every Thursday at 21:05 ET.

Tickets are issued every Friday, giving you plenty of chance to prepare for the forthcoming event.

Weekly Boosts

If you want to top up your Ignition poker account, it’s wise to wait until the start of the week. Why? Because there’s a special poker bonus issued every Monday, that’s only valid for three days.

The amount up for grabs depends upon your loyalty level, but it will be one of three options:

  • 50% up to $200
  • 50% up to $500
  • 50% up to $1,000

Royal Flush Bonus

All good online poker rooms offer you a special bonus for hitting the highest possible hand. The Ignition Poker site is certainly no exception, with a possible reward of 50x the big blind, up to a maximum of $200.

The Royal Flush Bonus only applies to Texas Hold’em cash games, and you must use both hole cards. If you qualify, email [email protected] to claim your rollover-free prize.

Bad Beat Bonus

Collect a Big Bad Bonus of 100x the big blind, and you’ll pocket up to $1,000.

Both hole cards must be used by both the losing and winning hand, and 3+ players need to be dealt into the hand. Also, you must be playing Ignition Poker Texas Hold’em cash games (no tournaments).

Submit your hand number and table number to [email protected] within 48 hours.

Ignition Poker US No Deposit Bonus

For now, , there isn’t a no deposit bonus available on the Ignition poker online site.

New players can only claim the $3,000 Ignition Poker deposit bonus.

We hope that the operator will introduce an Ignition no deposit bonus one day.

Ignition Poker Lobby

Next up in this Ignition poker review, it’s time to look at the various games the site offers.

Texas Hold’em

The most popular form of poker in the world, Texas Hold’em is as much about psychology as it is probability. With up to five community cards visible, and just two private hole cards, there’s plenty of scope for bluffing.

You can play Hold’em with a Fixed, Pot or No Limit betting structure, though the latter is most common. The majority of Ignition Poker tournaments found in the lobby are No Limit Hold’em events.

Omaha

A cousin of Texas Hold’em, almost all of the rules are identical.

The key exception, though, is the number of cards in your starting hand. All players receive four hole cards, and exactly two of these must be used when making your final poker hand.

Usually played with a Pot Limit structure, Omaha can also be a Fixed or No Limit game. The Ignition Poker tournament schedule mostly features Pot Limit Omaha tournaments, due to the popularity of this format.

Omaha Hi-Lo

You’ll only find one other game in the Ignition lobby, a popular variant of Omaha.

Here, the pot is split into two parts: one for the best “high” hand and one for the best “low”.

A “low” is a hand that’s no stronger than eight high. The lower its value, the better your chance of claiming the lower half of the pot. The rest of the rules are the same, meaning the strongest hand will take the “high” half of the pot.

Cash Games

The Ignition Poker client is bursting with busy cash games at a wide variety of stakes.

Naturally, the most popular tables are No Limit Hold’em, with both six-handed and nine-handed tables available from $0.02/$0.05 to $10/$20.

Fixed Limit Hold’em is also an option, but only at six-seat tables. Blind limits start at $0.05/$0.10 and rise to a healthy $30/$60.

Ignition’s Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo games are always played with a Pot Limit structure and a maximum of six seats. Stakes range from $0.02/$0.05 to $10/$20.

Zone Poker

With traditional cash tables, you can also play Zone Poker, which is Ignition’s fast-fold format. Here, the limits range from $0.02/$0.05 to $2.50/$5.

You’ll also notice play money games in the Ignition Poker lobby. This special practice mode allows you to play stress-free.

Ignition Poker Tournaments

The same three games are available for tournament play as cash games: Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo.

Buy-ins start at just $1 for Sit & Gos, as well as some special satellites to big festival events.

The biggest events, dubbed Super Duper High Roller tournaments, cost as much as $1,000 to enter. You can also play Jackpot Sit & Gos from as little as fifty cents.

Tournament Freerolls

There aren’t many Ignition Poker freeroll events. Loyal players rated Chrome (rewards level) or higher can at least play a weekly $2,500 freeroll.

There are also social media tournaments from time to time, for those following Ignition on Instagram and other platforms.

Ignition Poker Annual Tournament Festivals

The annual Ignition Poker tournament schedule includes three key festivals:

  • Black Diamond Poker Open (BDPO): Every March to April, with approximately 150 tournaments and around $10 million in guarantees.
  • Super Millions Poker Open (SMPO): Runs around July to August, with more than $8 million in tournament guarantees across 150+ events.
  • Golden Spade Poker Open (GSPO): Expect over $11 in guaranteed prizepools and 100+ tournaments in October and November.

All three festivals feature a Main Event with a buy-in of $425 + $25.

Ignition Online Poker Deposits & Withdrawals

No Ignition online poker review would be complete without running through the various payment methods. Let’s address that right away.

Cryptocurrency

With five potential options, Ignition is one of the leading crypto poker sites at the moment. Deposit and withdraw using Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Tether or Ethereum.

Minimum deposit requirements are generally low, equivalent to $10 in most cases. It’s only $5 for USDT, but ETH requires a deposit of $50. Ignition doesn’t charge cryptocurrency transaction fees, though your wallet provider might.

Cards and Other Options

Traditionalists can deposit using one of three major card providers: Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

It’s also possible to send funds between player accounts using special vouchers. Check the Ignition Poker site for more information on how these work.

How to Withdraw Money from Ignition Poker

You cannot request an Ignition Poker withdrawal using debit or credit cards. Also, a number of other options exist alongside the five cryptocurrencies.

Same-Day Crypto Withdrawals

Ignition casino poker withdrawals are much quicker than most poker apps.

If you use Bitcoin, you’re guaranteed to receive the funds within 24 hours. But, try any other cryptocurrency option and it’ll take just one hour.

Interface & User Experience

When writing our Ignition Poker review, we found the user experience to be quite solid. The desktop software is available for Windows users, but you can also play at Ignition Poker download-free in any up-to-date browser.

Ignition Review A Hold'em tournament underway using the Ignition Poker client on desktop

In terms of layout, Ignition’s desktop software looks and feels like most others, with a very familiar structure that’s easy to use.

You won’t be allowed to use any hand tracking software or Heads-Up Displays, as these go against the Terms of Service. Also, Ignition hides usernames to create a fun and safe playing environment for all.

Ignition Poker App

The Ignition Poker app replicates the mobile site within a web app. As such, there’s no need for a specific Android or iOS native app.

Ignition Review A Mystery Knockout tournament using the Ignition mobile app

Of course, you can always visit the site in a browser and play there instead, which we recommend in our Ignition Poker review.

Simply enter your Ignition Poker login credentials as usual and select “Play Now”.

In our Ignition Poker app review, we found a couple of minor negatives, but no deal breakers. We’d like the ability to edit preset bet sizes, for instance.

Secondly, we don’t like the rabbit hunting feature, which is enabled by default.

Although this is on-brand for a site trying to run a fun environment, it encourages results-oriented thinking and poor habits. At least this can be disabled.

Why Ignition is a Reliable and Safe Poker App

There are many reasons to use the Ignition Poker app, including the following:

  • Licensed by two regulatory authorities
  • Independently-tested Random Number Generator software
  • History of consistently paying customers quickly
  • Reputable site since 2016
  • Secure and reliable payment methods

Ignition Poker Customer Service & Safety

Licensed in two jurisdictions, Curaçao and Anjouan, Ignition has a strong track record for player safety. Since launching in 2016, we’re not aware of any serious complaints brought against the site.

Ignition offers you safe and secure poker games, and you can download the software or play in your browser. Also, the site runs RNG software which keeps hands random and fair for all.

In case you need help of any sort, use the following channels:

  • Help Center (a collection of searchable FAQs)
  • Contact Form (available at the bottom of every FAQ answer)
  • Email ([email protected])

Unfortunately, there is no Ignition Poker live chat option.

Where Ignition Poker is Legal

Ignition doesn’t have a license to operate in the USA. But, like many offshore poker sites, the site welcomes American registrants from the majority of states.

Players from Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, and New York may not open an account, as per the site’s terms and conditions.

The only other country in which Ignition offers its services is Australia.

The site possesses accreditations from two international regulators: Curaçao eGaming and the Anjouan Gaming Board.

Also, the site makes use of the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect your sensitive data. Its games are also underpinned by RNG software that’s been verified by third-party testing labs.

Finally, Ignition has been operational since 2016 with no major complaints to note in our Ignition Poker review. The site has become known for its timely payouts to players.

Ignition Poker vs Competitors

Here is a quick overview of how Ignition Poker compares to two other top poker operators in the industry.

Ignition vs BetOnline

Unfortunately, Ignition Poker lacks a proper rakeback system.

On the other hand, BetOnline offers 10% to 25% rakeback, which is explored in our BetOnline Poker review.

But Ignition makes up for this by giving you a greater range of poker bonuses, from weekly boosts to rewards freerolls.

As for the BetOnline vs Ignition poker mobile app (web) comparison, the latter is undoubtedly the better with the light Ignition poker download client.

Ignition vs Bovada

These two operators share the same poker network – PaiWangLuo – meaning that their poker lobbies and offerings will be identical.

For example, your rake for tournaments is at 10% and cash games at 5%.

One of Ignition’s standout features is its annual tournament festivals, covered earlier in this Ignition Poker review.

You will also find more Ignition bonuses for poker players, starting with the sign up offer.

Bovada offers you a deposit match of up to $500, while Ignition boasts 150% up to $1,500 for poker.

Playing At Ignition Poker US: Tips and Tricks

Here are some of our best hints for you to get the most out of your Ignition experience.

  • Stick to a single game – If you’re new to poker, pick a specific game and concentrate solely on that. It will be harder to improve if you spread your time thinly by playing multiple forms of poker.
  • Specialize in one format – Some players are better at tournaments than cash games. Aggressive styles are better-suited to six-max games. Find a format that works for you and focus on mastering it.
  • Manage your bankroll – Probably the most important piece of advice for any poker player. Set a sum aside from your everyday funds and never commit more than a small percentage to any single tournament or cash game.
  • Learn how to use cryptocurrency – As pleasantly discovered for our Ignition Poker review, the platform offers some of the quickest withdrawals of any online poker site. But, you’ll need to transact with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to benefit from one hour payout times.
  • Investigate download-free play – A unique feature of the Ignition Poker mobile site is the ability to play in a browser. The basic graphics reduce distractions and allow you to play on the go more easily.
  • Practice hard – Aside from reading books and poker forums, the best way to improve is to play. To protect your bankroll, make the most of Ignition’s free-to-play practice mode. Look out for freeroll tournaments, too.
