Belgium Becomes Latest Market for GGPoker Expansion, Platform Set To Launch July 31

GGPoker continues to grow and announced an expansion into the Belgian regulated market beginning on July 31.

GGPoker continues to grow and announced an expansion into the European regulated market on Tuesday. The company is launching into Belgium and players in the country can begin signing up and playing on July 31.

The move makes GGPoker a locally licensed online gaming site. The country becomes just the latest to join the GGPoker Network. The platform remains one of the fastest-growing poker sites and even recently overtook PokerStars as the top spot for cash game players.

Details of the launch in Belgium

GG’s Belgian operation will be run by Deba Square, a company licensed and regulated by the Belgian Gaming Commission.

The Concept Booth company has also partnered to market the platform in the country and engage with poker fans. Concept is a grassroots Belgian company that operates poker clubs and events in the country.

With the launch, Belgian players can win a World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet for the first time. The WSOP Online series runs from Aug. 1 to Sept. 12 with 33 gold bracelets on the line for international players.

As part of the series, Belgian players can also qualify for the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas. 

What to expect from GGPoker

GGPoker in Belgium will offer a fully localized experience of the platform’s software. That includes customer assistance in the local language with responsible gaming and customer protection features as required by Belgian regulators.
