The biggest tournament in the history of CoinPoker is underway.
Day 1 flights have begun for The One, a $250 buy-in with a $5 million guarantee. The winner will bank an unfathomable $1 million, a number straight from the heyday of online poker tournaments. CoinPoker plans to run The One as a yearly event, and this is the first edition.
The first Day 1 flight is already running, part of a three-flight schedule each day from Oct. 4 through Oct. 11. Here are the times of each starting day:
- 1:30 p.m. UTC (9:30 a.m. ET)
- 4:30 p.m. UTC (12:30 p.m. ET)
- 7:30 p.m. UTC (3:30 p.m. ET)
The last two flights are turbo flights on Monday, Oct. 12, the same day as Day 2.
CoinPoker is running some promos in conjunction with The One. Any player who qualifies for Day 2 gets their buy-in back as a refund. Along with a best-stack-forward format, that encourages players to keep playing in hopes of putting themselves in the best position for the $1 million.
Additionally, the three players who put the most real-money entries into The One each day earn a free ticket to a subsequent starting day.

This is an online poker tournament that will rival any other, and tournament grinders will be working hard to ensure they’ve got a shot at the $1 million, starting today.
