WSOP Schedule Features 100 Live Events Including Six New Ones, Delayed Main Event Final Table

The 2026 World Series of Poker summer schedule is here. It includes 100 live bracelet events and takes place at the combined Paris/Horseshoe properties on the Las Vegas Strip, as usual. The 2026 WSOP begins on May 26 and lasts through at least July 15, although there’s some open-endedness to the main event schedule this year.

This year’s main event begins July 2, with four starting flights on consecutive days. After much speculation following the controversial WSOP Paradise and its unlimited reentries, the summer main event will feature its usual freezeout format. It also appears that the WSOP is bringing back a delayed final table for its marquee tournament.

“Play will proceed until the final table is reached on July 13, with specifics on the Main Event final table play dates and broadcast coverage to be announced at a later date,” the press release said.

WSOP promised daily streaming coverage on the company’s YouTube channel this year. In recent years, PokerGO has handled the streaming coverage.

“As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game.”

Players will once again register via the popular WSOP+ app, which streamlined the process significantly in 2025.

WSOP dropped the full schedule today after a minor false start last week, a teaser that wound up as an “announcement of an announcement.” Players can now begin planning their summer playing schedules in earnest, although plenty of non-bracelet events from competing properties will factor in as well. Those schedules are sure to be forthcoming.

Notable Nuggets from 2026 WSOP Schedule

The 2026 WSOP schedule features six new events:

• $550 No-Limit Hold’em Mini Mystery Millions
• $10,000 GGMillion$ No-Limit Hold’em High Roller
• $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em U.S. WSOP Circuit Championship
• $1,500 Five Card Pot-Limit Omaha
• $1,500 Pick Your PLO
• $500 No-Limit Hold’em Summer Saver

The Summer Saver has been held online in past years.

Five-card PLO is brand new to the series. It’s become a pretty popular format for live and online PLO cash games, including some of the highest-stakes games in the world.

Since last year’s WSOP also included 100 live events, that means six events have necessarily fallen off the schedule:

• $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Battle of the Ages
• $3,000 Limit Hold’em Six-Handed
• $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em
• $777 Lucky 7’s No-Limit Hold’em
• $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout
• $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Handed

The WSOP’s press release did not reveal any information about online events. Last year’s official schedule featured the online events numbered separately and interspersed throughout the live schedule.

PokerScout reached out to the WSOP to inquire about the online bracelet schedule. A WSOP media contact responded, writing that the company had “nothing to share currently” but would have something “in the coming weeks.”

Finally, the WSOP promised a seamless transition to a WSOP Circuit stop in Las Vegas at the tail end of the WSOP. The currently announced WSOPC stops only extend through May. Traditionally, the WSOP has revealed the second-half schedule sometime during the summer festival.
