The WSOP Circuit will visit Spain for the first time when Casino Gran Vía Madrid hosts an 11-day festival from October 23 through November 2, 2026. The schedule features 11 ring events, with buy-ins ranging from €300 to €2,500, and is headlined by a €1,500 Main Event. PokerNews reported the festival dates and full schedule.
A new stop after a record-setting year
The Madrid announcement follows a year of new ground for the Circuit at home and abroad. In September, the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event at Texas Card House in Austin drew 2,090 entries, setting a record for the tour’s largest Main Event field; Eric Chang won $433,670.
Earlier, the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada at Playground produced a 2,844-entry field in its CA$5,000 Main Event and a CA$13,082,400 prize pool. Mayukh Chakraborty finished on top for CA$1.5 million. Madrid adds a fresh destination to that international expansion, while the festival’s ring-event format connects it to the Circuit’s established ring-based tournament competition.
New venues can also give European players another focal point on the live calendar. The WSOP’s wider European footprint has included destination changes, such as the move of the WSOP Europe Main Event to Prague, which expanded the event’s reach.
€1,500 Main Event anchors the Madrid schedule
The opening ring event is the €300 Mini Main Event, which starts Friday, October 23. Four starting flights run across October 23 and 24, followed by the final day on October 25. That Sunday also brings the €550 Seniors event, open to players aged 50 and over, and the first flight of the €550 Mystery Bounty.
The €300 Colossus offers six starting flights between October 25 and November 1, before its final day on November 2. The €2,500 High Roller begins October 27, while the festival’s marquee tournament, Ring #7, is the €1,500 WSOP Circuit Main Event, with four starting flights from October 28.
Main Event Days 1A, 1B and 1C use 40-minute levels; the final opening flight, Day 1D on October 30, switches to 20-minute levels. Survivors meet for Day 2 on October 31, with the final day scheduled for November 1. The late schedule adds a €1,000 Deepstack and €550 Omaha, followed by the €400 Superstack and €350 Bigstack.
Madrid to crown Spain’s first Circuit Main Event champion
Satellites, daily tournaments and a €200 Nightly Knockout round out the programme. The schedule lists live Main Event satellites at €180, alongside other qualifiers for events including the Mystery Bounty and High Roller.
Madrid will crown the first WSOP Circuit Main Event champion in Spain during the festival. Ring action reaches its conclusion on November 2 with the Colossus and Superstack finals, followed by the €350 Bigstack-a substantial final day for the Circuit’s Spanish debut.
