Alejandro Lococo won the $1,050 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event for $343,242, outlasting 2,310 entries in a four-day tournament with a prize pool of more than $2.3 million. Card Player identified the Argentinian as a CoinPoker ambassador; he played the event online under the screen name [Papo]AR.

The result delivered one of the festival’s three Main Event titles across separate buy-in tiers. PokerNews reported that the $1,050 event surpassed its $2 million guarantee, with Lococo finishing ahead of a final table that included several familiar online handles.

Lococo adds another major title

Lococo’s victory followed a run of major live results. In 2024, he won the Triton Million at the World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOP Paradise) festival, earning $12,070,000, a WSOP bracelet and a Triton title. He also finished seventh in the 2021 WSOP Main Event for $1,225,000.

Card Player reported total recorded tournament earnings of $16,981,726 and said Lococo signed with CoinPoker as an ambassador in March 2026. He was one of three WCOOP Main Event champions: Felipe “lipe piv” Boianovsky won the $10,300 event, while “ihor888888” took the $109 version. PokerStars’ three-tiered finale put Lococo’s $1,050 victory between those two buy-ins.

The win also followed earlier WCOOP final-table coverage, now resolved with Lococo claiming the title and top prize. PokerStars has continued to adjust its online tournament offerings, including through new formats for non-satellite events.

Q-4 makes trips on the river

Lococo streamed the victory and celebration for his followers. By heads-up, he had built a substantial chip lead over “Goodarla,” and the final hand began with Lococo shoving from the button with Q♦4♠. Goodarla called for the remaining chips with 10♥7♥.

The J♣6♣4♥ flop kept Lococo ahead, but the 5♠ turn gave Goodarla additional outs. The 4♦ river made Lococo trips and sealed the win; Card Player reported that friends joined the celebration afterward, where they danced and chanted together.

Goodarla earned $244,673 for second, with Jorge “jorginho88” Abreu taking $174,412 for third. The rest of the final table payouts were $124,327 for feedme12, $88,624 for calldeKhig, $63,174 for paco_cska20, $45,033 for Timmy_Twitch, $32,101 for Carboneraa and $22,882 for Julio “JúlioFantin” Fantin.

A crossover career, another championship

Outside poker, Lococo is known as “Papo MC.” Card Player reports that he won the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos rap battle contest in 2016 and has more than 2.6 million YouTube subscribers.

The WCOOP title adds a major online championship to a résumé already marked by a seven-figure WSOP Main Event finish and the Triton Million victory. Lococo’s $343,242 payday now stands as the latest headline result in a career that spans poker and music.
