Kayhan Mokri is quickly making a name for himself in the world of high-stakes poker, and his bankroll got a massive boost from the January cash games on CoinPoker. The Norwegian, playing under the moniker ‘KayhanMok,’ laid waste to the games to the tune of a $2.3 million win.
He did so despite playing comparatively few hands, just 5,575. The top earners in the games generally play north of 10,000 hands.
Needless to say, Mokri had a nice win rate, around 22 big blinds per 100. However, the real driver of his win was playing some of the biggest games ever seen online, including a no-limit hold’em match with blinds as high as $2,500-$5,000 against ‘ATAKA.’ Mokri took ATAKA for about $1.8 million. He also booked a seven-figure win against ‘cardsforfun.’
Mokri also showed a willingness to battle the top pot-limit Omaha players. He played several hundred hands apiece against Omaha end bosses ‘Giselle54‘ and ‘GucciNIKE.’ Mokri broke about even in those games.

As for GucciNIKE and Giselle54, their never-ending match continues. GucciNIKE had the upper hand in the January battles, winning almost $1.9 million. That powered them to a $1.15 million overall win, meaning they lost against the rest of their collective opposition. GucciNIKE was the volume leader for the month in the nosebleed games, playing more than 16,000 hands.
Highly regarded no-limit pro ‘Clickr‘ returned to their game of choice after previously dabbling in some PLO. Clickr was yet another victim of Mokri’s rampage, but they still booked a win of almost $500K for the month thanks to cardsforfun.
