CoinPoker upgraded its software to “version 2.0,” which includes features such as mystery bounties, private tables, and more. It’s the first update since March, and it keeps most of the aesthetic from the March update while adding numerous features.
CoinPoker has dubbed the software The Next Level. It includes a reimagined mobile experience as well. Here’s a look at the operator’s social media preview:
WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF COINPOKER!

The biggest and most notable update is the inclusion of the popular mystery bounty format for poker tournaments. These tournaments have become some of the most popular on the schedule, both live and online. Other major changes include a revamped and rebranded high-stakes experience, and quality-of-life upgrades for the user experience. CoinPoker has updated and adjusted some of its graphics/animations as well.
Mystery Bounties, Private Cash Games Highlight New CoinPoker Experience
The mystery bounties are self-explanatory and come just in time for the upcoming PokerGO Tour Online event, which begins Nov. 8. That addition brings CoinPoker in line with the rest of the online poker operators, which have offered these for a few years now.
As for the cash game changes, CoinPoker has long been the go-to home of nosebleed online games. The crypto-native aspect of the site makes it very high-stakes friendly, and the best players in the world have been trading six-figure pots there for well over a year now.
Formerly dubbed VIP Arena, the high-stakes games will now be rebranded as High Stakes Poker Online, in keeping with CoinPoker’s ongoing collaboration with PokerGO, which carries the televised and streamed games of the same name. High Stakes Poker Online tables will feature low rake and enhanced rewards, meant to allow CoinPoker to continue showcasing the biggest games in the world.
Additionally, players can now create private tables. Again, this brings CoinPoker up to date with its competitors, which have long offered “clubs” with a similar mechanic.
Updates to the actual game experience on CoinPoker include:
- Hole card squeeze and river squeeze
- Improved multi-tabling mechanics, with alerts to ping the player for an action
- Special tags for select famous and high-stakes players
- Mouse wheel bet sizing
- Option for decoupling HUD and notes from the table
- Segregating cash and tournaments in the desktop lobby
- More dynamic sit out control — players can now sit out all tables next hand or next big blind
