Another major series is coming to the European live poker scene. PartyPoker announced The Festival Bratislava is heading to Slovakia from Oct. 10-16 with seats up for grabs by playing online at the site.
Banco Casino hosts the series, which includes a €550 Main Event featuring a €500,000 guarantee. Players will also find numerous side events including deepstack, high roller, Pot Limit Omaha, eight-game mix, and knockout tournaments. PartyPoker players have numerous opportunities to earn their way into the series.
“I have worked in the poker industry since 2004 and throughout the years, PartyPoker has stood out as one of the most respected and trusted operators, with a huge player base,” festival co-founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk said in a news release.

Along with online qualifying for that series, satellites also get underway beginning Sunday for the upcoming MILLIONS Online Main Event.
Qualifying online at PartyPoker
Party continues working to offer some major poker opportunities for players of all levels and bankrolls. Players can win their place into The Festival for as little as €0.01.
The site is offering €1,500 tournament packages up for grabs. These prizes include:
- a €550 Main Event seat
- six nights accommodation for two people
- €260 in expenses
Players can jump in any of six “One Cent Shots” running daily. Those then feed into a €0.44 feeder, which then push players into an €11 Phase 1.
The Phase 1 events run twice daily with the top 10% of finishers moving on to the €109 Satellite Final. The winner of that event claims the €1,500 package.
Satellite Finals will be held on Sundays, starting on Aug. 14 and running through Oct. 2.
What to expect at The Festival
Those winning a tournament package will find plenty of side action and cash games alongside the Main Event. Roulette, blackjack, and slot tournaments will also be part of the mix as well as a sports betting competition.
Party is also promising plenty of fun away from the casino. There will be events every day of the series including player parties, an underground nightlife tour, wine tasting, and a tour of the River Danube.
Organizers will release the complete tournament schedule in the coming weeks.
MILLIONS Online qualifiers also kick off
In other news, PartyPoker is kicking off MILLIONS Online qualifiers this weekend. Party is now offering players a shot to secure a seat in the $3,200 Main Event. The se series is set for September with a complete schedule to be released soon.
The tournament features a $2 million guarantee and players can win a seat for as little as a single cent. The qualifying action kicks off on Aug. 14 when the first of these satellite events get underway.
There is no direct buy-in into the phase final and players can only get into them via centrolls, feeders, or the Phased satellite tree.
Numerous players have started with these tiny investments to find major scores. Gareth Smirthwaite and Vitaly Polikarpov both won their way into December’s $5,300 Main Event for $0.01. Smirthwaite progressed to Day 2 anf found a min-cash, all for his single cent investment.
Argentina’s Ramiro Petrone scored the title in December, taking home $859,018. Players now have the opportunity to score their own entry into the next event with a shot at some real poker glory.
