A fight broke out this past week in the poker room at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, quickly becoming a viral hit as the video circulated on social media.

High-stakes poker pro Chance Kornuth first shared the video without context on Saturday night.

The explosive video captures two unnamed players getting in a verbal confrontation. At first, they yell threats at one another. For anyone who has played poker before, these heated verbal fights are not entirely uncommon, as tempers can flare with money on the line.

But things get more serious as the two men get up from the table. The confrontation then escalates dramatically as the man in the backwards hat knocks out the larger man in one punch to the chin. The man hits the ground instantly, making the video a dramatic hit for people online who like to view carnage.

This video quickly spread like wildfire online, with several other poker players and media sending it out on X.

It then escaped containment and went mainstream beyond poker social media, with several big accounts sharing it. Including “Daily Loud,” where it was shared to those accounts’ 3.3 million followers. The account “HoodSh1t” also shared the video, which got a massive 6.3 million views. All told across multiple accounts, the video appears to have received over 12 million views.

This video is reminiscent of a recent viral video that also broke out into the mainstream, where a man flipped three tables during the WSOPC Cherokee Main Event a couple of months ago in February.

Punching someone out at the poker table violates poker etiquette and is not something you would see discussed in a beginner’s guide to Texas Hold’em.

The context of the video, what started the fight, or who the players are, are still unknown details. Red Rock Casino’s reaction to the incident is also unknown.
