The WSOP 25K Fantasy competition has had a hectic first two weeks of the 2025 WSOP. Big results by the likes of Ben Glaser, Ben Lamb, and Nick Guaganti have made it a big race. Team Money Monday is currently out in front, but it’s a tight race with changes in the top five happening almost daily.
Many big events filled with players who were selected in the 25K Fantasy draft, have already been played to create a lot of jostling up and down between teams.
Current Standings
The standings are ever in flux and change daily as tournaments on the 2025 WSOP schedule finish each day. The 25K Fantasty website does a fine job of keeping the updates timely. But let’s take a look at the top spots in this exact snapshot of the moment, exactly two weeks since the start of the series.
Team Money Monday’s Podcast – The current leaders in the clubhouse with 350 total points. Their MVP is Ben Lamb, who has accumulated 114 points, thanks mainly to his runner-up finish in the $25,000 High Roller PLO/NLH Mixed where he came very close to securing his third career WSOP bracelet.
This team also has a strong showing from Jared Bleznick who has 83 points so far. The three former WSOP Main Event champions on this team, Joe Cada, Ryan Riess and Phill Hellmuth have also contributed points. Hellmuth will be looking to ramp up his efforts throughout the rest of the series, as he already confirmed he will play in the Main Event after raising the idea that he wouldn’t do so a few months ago.
Team BTG – In second place with 327 points. This team has a strong mixed game roster who have delivered the results so far. They jumped into second following Nick Guaganti’s bracelet win in the $10,000 Seven Cars Stud Championship on Sunday night as he denied Chino Rheem his first bracelet after overcoming him heads up. Adam Friedman has also chipped in a strong 92 points from two mixed game championship final tables.
Team Dinkers – The former frontrunner, which has dropped to third after the weekend. Team Dinkers is carried by current top individual point getter Benny Glaser who has a massive 167 points just on his own, thanks to the two bracelets he has already won. His total is more than the entire point total of 10 of the teams and is able to offset the five players on this team who have only two points or fewer.
It is worth noting that sometimes big points go unclaimed. The $25K fantasy competition is typically more American-based, which meant that the winner of Sunday’s $25K High Roller 6-Handed was surprisingly won by an undrafted player, Blaz Jerjav of Slovenia.
Upcoming Events to Watch
The recent $25K high roller and $10K championship events have greatly altered the standings. There are plenty of events upcoming this week to keep an eye on as they will surely make a big impact on the standings.
- $50,000 High Roller NLH starting on Monday
- $10,000 PLO 8 or Better on Tuesday
- $100,000 High Roller NLH on Wedesday – This will be one of the most exclusive field of NLH crushers of the series
- $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship on Thursday
- $1,500 Monster Stack all week long – While this event will be filled with thousands of non-fantasy players, it gives those on the fantasy teams a chance for field bonus points considering the expected massive field. The largest point totals in single events can come from deep runs in multi-thousand player fields.
