Brazilian pros have dominated the GG series so far and Ramos took $476,612 for second.

This event guaranteed a prize pool of $4 million, with the double stack action crushing that. The tournament scored a total prize pool of more than $5.5 million from 5,894 entries.

Event 13: $5,000 PLO Championship  (Aug. 17)

The Pot Limit Omaha tournament attracted 267 entries and created a prize pool over $1.2 million. At the end of Day 2, Lithuania’s Vincas Tamasauskas took the gold and $268,926.

Tamasauskas defeated Ben Lakatos of Hungary heads up. Lakatos settled for $194,439 as runner-up. Daniel Negreanu had a deep run as well, finishing 19th.

Event 14: $500 BIG 500 (Aug 19)

Brazil continues to be a force as the country snagged another piece of hardware over the last week. Renan Bruschi captured his first bracelet on Friday.

The Brazilian rounder won $150,327 after topping a field of 2,639 entries. That number created a total prize pool of more than $1.2 million

Bruschi was the highlight of the final table, keeping viewers entertained on GGPoker’s SnapCam. He was seen singing and dancing as he climbed the leaderboard.

According to the GGPoker website, Snapcam is a 15-second recording that allows players to “use your camera to express yourself while you play. GGPoker’s SnapCam feature allows you to share your excitement of winning a big pot or disappointment at missing all your outs with your table mates!”

In this case, the camera feature produced plenty of excitement. for this user
