The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is teasing a city-wide sale next week called the “Fabulous Five-Day Sale,” in partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Although it remains to be seen what exactly is on offer, it’s something poker players may want to keep an eye on, especially anyone thinking of coming to the city for the WPT World Championship in December. If travelers hold off on booking travel until next week, they might have a chance to save some money on expenses for one of the biggest poker tournaments of the year.
The sale is part of the “Welcome to Fabulous” brand campaign. It aims to boost the struggling Las Vegas tourism industry by adding value for visitors.
Full details of the sale will be released on Monday, Sept. 22. It will last through the whole week, Sept. 22-26. The limited-time offer will provide deals on resorts, restaurants, entertainment, and experiences throughout Las Vegas.

An Effort to Lower the Cost of Vegas Trips
Welcome to Fabulous is a year-long campaign that began on Sept. 4. The inspiration behind the name comes from the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign where visitors often take pictures. The campaign aims to highlight the fabulous aspect of Las Vegas, rekindling the idea of the city as an exciting destination.
The LVCVA has already rolled out early phases of the campaign. One of the central tenets of the campaign is to “bring value back” to Vegas. In recent years, prices on the Strip have gone up drastically, producing backlash that may be contributing to declining tourism numbers. Other factors include reduced visitation from Canada amid President Trump’s tariff war and general economic conditions.
Monday Night Football featured the campaign when the Raiders walked out on the field during their Sept. 15 game from the Fabulous Tunnel Walk.
Steve Hill, president and CEO of the LVCVA, talked about the Raiders partnership:
Developed in partnership with the Raiders, the Fabulous Tunnel Walk adds an extra layer of excitement not only to the Raiders’ home games, but also to the numerous championship games, international matchups, and marquee events at Allegiant Stadium, enhancing the already unmatched experience of being in and playing in Las Vegas.
The campaign has gone coast to coast, reaching Times Square via a billboard with Vegas imagery. On Wednesday, it extended to the West Coast. There, Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles sports a billboard that blinks from “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” to “Come to Fabulous Las Vegas.”
