The international online poker boom continues and the iPoker Network is getting in the action. The network is running the Royal Series from Oct. 23 to Nov. 1 with an overall guarantee of €300,000.
This platform doesn’t garner huge headlines like some of the bigger operators. However, iPoker is regularly among the top 10 international poker platforms in terms of traffic.
The network is now offering a nice series for players with events in High, Media, Low, and Micro stakes. The action kicks off Oct. 23 with eight events.

What is iPoker and how does it work?
Most of the largest online poker sites function as standalone platforms. However, iPoker is based on a different model. The network is owned by gaming giant PlayTech and was founded in 1999.
iPoker, which is based in the United Kingdom, has numerous skins that are part of the network. Some of those include Bet365, Betfair, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Titan Poker, and more.
Each brings its own player pool to the platform including promotions and bonus offers. iPoker regularly garners 800 to 1,000 players with 24-hour peaks in the 1,500-1,600 range.
Players on the site will find Texas Hold’em and Omaha . Low and medium bankroll players will find plenty of cash game and tournament action.
A look at the iPoker Royal Series
The Royal offers plenty of fun for players of all bankrolls, with buy-ins ranging from €0.50 to €100. Satellites kicked off on Oct. 16 and will run throughout the series.
iPoker is also offering several poker missions to complete daily throughout the series. The missions award series tournament tickets or entry into freerolls giving away event tickets to winners.
The festival features a variety of tournament types including:
- re-entry
- rebuy
- progressive knockouts (PKO)
PKO events offer a fun twist on a traditional bounty tournament. All players have a bounty on their heads when the action starts.
However, once a player is eliminated, only a portion of that bounty is awarded to the winning player. The other portion is added to the winning player’s bounty.
This system sees each player’s bounty progressively increase throughout the event. Players can cash in even more as they eliminate players later in the tournament.
The Royal Series €100 Main Event caps the festivities on Nov. 1 and features a €50,000 guarantee. There are also three other main events the same day including:
- €20 Medium – €10,000 guarantee
- €5 Low – €2,500 guarantee
- €0.50 Micro – €500 guarantee
The series will be running on most of the iPoker.com skins, with the exception of Dafabet, Winner, Titan, and SportsInteraction. Here’s a look at the complete series:
