Firekeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan, which is one of the premier casinos in Michigan, has opened a newly designed 21-table poker room. This is sure to be a big boon for the casino and for poker in Michigan overall.

The room will be a big upgrade for the largest stop on the recently rebranded “Major Series of Poker – The Tour” (MSPT). The new room is adorned with MSPT branding to welcome all the tournament grinders for the massive tournament in the Great Lake State. The many tables will serve not only No Limit Hold’em but several different types of poker games.

There are also some perks that come with the upgraded room, with a self-serve beverage station, a better cashier experience and faster processing. There is also a designated final table area, which will be used for major tournaments. Special reserved private games can also be reserved for the designated table.

John Fell, Director of Table Games at FireKeepers Casino Hotel had this to say about the new poker room:

“Our new poker room is more than just a new location — it’s a true hub for everything poker. Whether you’re here for daily games, major tournaments, or just to enjoy the atmosphere, this space delivers the energy and amenities that players expect from a top-tier poker destination.”

Firekeepers Casino has long held big-time MSPT tournaments with many thousands won. The all-time leader in prize money at the casino is Brad Sailor of Lomnard, IL, who has amassed $417,692 at Firekeepers thanks mainly to two final tables at MSPT Firekeepers Main Events over the past two years.
