Michigan is the second-largest regulated iGaming market in the U.S. by revenue and may be the largest for online poker, according to PokerScout estimates.
The reasons for that include:
Michigan was also fairly quick to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, allowing its poker sites to network with co-branded sites in New Jersey and Nevada. Pennsylvania joined later, and its inclusion led to the launch of BetRivers Poker in Michigan, the fourth and most recent addition to the market.
