Pennsylvania is the most populous state with regulated iGaming, and the biggest market for online casinos. By PokerScout’s estimate, it is in second place for online poker, but quickly catching up with Michigan.
One of the things holding Pennsylvania back was that its players were cut off from the multi-state poker pool until 2025. Shared liquidity started that April, and online poker in the state has been growing rapidly since then.
Philadelphia is a hub for retail poker on the East Coast, with Parx Casino being particularly well-known as a destination. It’s also close enough to Atlantic City that players readily travel back and forth between the two.
