MGM Resorts International is a leading operator of hotel-casinos in the U.S. and abroad. Some of those bear the MGM name, but it also owns the Borgata and Beau Rivage.
It has also established the BetMGM online gambling brand, though the nature of that product depends on whether you’re in North America or elsewhere. Within the U.S. and Canada, BetMGM is a joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, using the latter’s software. In Europe, MGM Resorts operates the BetMGM brand independently, using LeoVegas software.
The North American joint venture product is by far the more popular of the two. As of 2025, BetMGM Poker has become the U.S. market leader in regulated states.
