The Global Online Poker Championship on CoinPoker will hold its third CoinMillion of the series this Sunday, Sept. 20. As always, it will guarantee $1 million in prizes for just a $215 buy-in, making it one of the biggest tournaments of the weekly Sunday slate.
In preparation for the massive event, CoinPoker has set forth a robust satellite schedule, attempting to qualify as many players as possible.
The last CoinMillion drew 5,321 entries, so the bar has been set quite high. ‘FINALVERDICT7’ scooped a $123,979 top prize.

Players can also work their way up, starting with a free satellite in the Steps system.
When the actual CoinMillion goes down, one lucky winner will claim an estimated $120,000. The first two GOPC editions of the CoinMillion awarded $119,500 and $123,979 to the champions. While CoinPoker announced that the CoinMillion will be a monthly event, four of them are running in September as part of the GOPC.

Once the GOPC wraps up, players can look forward even more to next month’s The One, which will award $1 million to first place in a $250 buy-in, CoinPoker’s most ambitious tournament yet.
