WPT Global Offers Unprecedented 100% Rakeback on March MTTs

Rake Free MTTs WPT Global

Players looking for generous online poker action will find it this month, as WPT Global has announced a 100% rakeback promotion taking place from March 4 to 31. During the promotion period, all tournament rake will be put back into three freerolls for WPT Global players to participate in.

“Within WPT Global there is an epic battle going on between two groups of people. The first group is comprised of lunatics with no concept of the value of money, and simply wants to spend our way to the top with no regard for profitability. The second group is sensible and wants to get a return on our investments. In this case, the first group won”, said President of WPT Global, Alex Scott, “Nevertheless, it’s a great time to be an MTT player on WPT Global!”

100% Rakeback Freeroll Details

While online poker players are surely familiar with a portion of each pot being retained for rake, WPT Global also wants to familiarize them with an environment where that rake is utilized to give back to and reward players. The freerolls where the rake is contributed to themselves consist of three impressive tiers and are network-wide.

  • Bronze (qualify by playing 30+ MTTs or spending $250 – $999.99): Minimum $100,000 guarantee, or the equivalent of 15% of the rakeback for the month.
  • Silver (qualify by playing 60+ MTTs or spending $1,000 – $4,999.99): Minimum $150,000 guarantee, or the equivalent of 25% of the rakeback for the month.
  • Gold (qualify by playing 100+ MTTs or spending $5,000+): Minimum $350,000 guarantee, or the equivalent of 60% of the rakeback for the month.

These freeroll amounts, especially the Gold tier, are impressive and quite unprecedented in the online poker world. All in all, March is clearly a strong month to take part in playing at WPT Global.

WPT World Championship, WSOP Paradise & EPT Prague—How December Tournament Series Compare

An apples-to-apples comparison of the three major tournament poker series taking place in December 2023.

Seemingly out of nowhere, December has become perhaps the most competitive month for live poker tournament series. Before 2020, the European Poker Tour’s stop in Prague was the marquee event for the month. However, things have heated up since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the industry to press pause and make a fresh start.

Last year, the World Poker Tour introduced its new World Championship at the Wynn Las Vegas. That inaugural event was an explosive success, with the main event receiving nearly double the guaranteed turnout and most side events outperforming expectations by similar or greater margins.

This year, the WPT World Championship is back and bigger than ever. However, it faces a new challenger in the World Series of Poker’s WSOP Paradise. This new tournament series will take place at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the former home of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

All three occupy a similar part of the calendar, running in the first half of the month and wrapping up before Christmas:

  • WPT World Championship: Dec. 12 to Dec. 21
  • WSOP Paradise: Dec. 3 to Dec. 14
  • EPT Prague: Dec. 6 to Dec. 17

Given that overlap and the thousands of miles separating the three events, most players will have to pick just one to attend.

How to choose between them? Here’s a look at what each has to offer.

WPT World Championship

The World Poker Tour is a long-running brand in the live poker world, dating back to the poker boom years. The timing of its first season seemed prescient in retrospect, wrapping up in 2003 just as poker was about to break into the mainstream.

However, until recently, it didn’t have a singular flagship event. Each stop was on roughly equal footing until it introduced the World Championship in 2022. This new stop takes place each December at the Wynn, whose poker room is considered one of the nicest in Las Vegas.

The idea proved to be a hit. The Championship event itself guaranteed $15 million in prizes, implying an expected field of a little over 1,500 players. Instead, 2,960 showed up, making it the biggest WPT event in history by a wide margin.

WPT anticipates that the second run of the series will do better still. It has upped the Championship event guarantee to $40 million and crafted an extensive and varied schedule of side events. Many of these also feature aggressive guarantees.

To ensure the sort of turnout it wants, WPT has provided numerous paths for players to qualify, regardless of their budget. Many of these are through WPT Global, a WPT-affiliated online poker site that debuted in April 2022. Sadly, it hasn’t launched in the US yet but has plans to do so in the future.

Pros

  • Building off of break-out success in 2022.
  • Longest schedule of the three series, with 25 days of events.
  • Huge guarantees for most events, including the $40 million Championship.
  • Multiple online promotions and tournaments offering qualification.
  • Las Vegas provides world-class entertainment away from the tables.

Cons

  • Online qualification currently unavailable to US players.
  • Las Vegas weather in December is okay but not great (highs of around 60 F/15 C, dipping below freezing at night).
  • Las Vegas has become significantly more expensive in recent years, though room rates in December are reasonable.

WSOP Paradise

While the WPT is a year-round series of stops, the World Series of Poker is best known for its eponymous two-month series over the summer in Las Vegas.

It is now attempting to establish a wintertime counterpoint in the Bahamas with the WSOP Paradise. However, the new series has been attracting controversy before it has even begun. Some objections relate to the venue, others to its online partner, GGPoker.

The Atlantis is either the biggest selling point for the series or a deal-breaker, depending on who you ask. On the one hand, it’s a physically beautiful resort, and there are few places you’d rather be in December than the Bahamas.

However, poker players encountered many problems during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure’s run at the Atlantis. That may be why it canceled the series in 2019 and chose a different venue—the Baha Mar Nassau—when rebooting it this year.

Complaints about the resort itself include its high prices and reportedly poor customer service. More importantly, winning players need to be careful leaving the Bahamas. Local customs agents are notorious for harassing those traveling with large sums of cash, sometimes even confiscating the money.

Meanwhile, GGPoker’s involvement has come under fire after poker player David Lappin noticed fine print stating that online qualifiers’ hotel stays will be paid for out of the tournament prize pool and could result in it being smaller than the advertised $15 million guarantee.

Still, it is the Bahamas in December and a chance to win WSOP Gold Bracelets. That combination may be enough to draw a crowd despite these concerns.

Pros

  • Tournaments award coveted WSOP Gold Bracelets.
  • $15 million guaranteed Main Event.
  • Beautiful weather in December, with highs in the 80s F (mid-20s C).
  • Online qualification available to US residents through WSOP.com and internationally through GGPoker.

Cons

  • Untested series.
  • Atlantis Resort is expensive and has been unpopular with poker players in the past.
  • Controversial fine print regarding guarantees and prize pool deductions.
  • Players need to be very careful if taking their winnings in cash as they leave the Bahamas.

EPT Prague

Like the WPT, the EPT has a long history and is structured as a series of stops rather than centering itself on one big annual festival. However, it debuted two years later, in 2004, and is operated by PokerStars, whereas the WPT is an independent brand.

Because PokerStars organizes the series, it also offers online qualifiers. However, there isn’t sufficient interest in the US for these to run on its sites in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.

Prague has been an EPT stop since 2007 and has grown to be one of the most popular on the tour, up there with Barcelona and Monte Carlo. It takes place in King’s Casino at the Hilton Hotel.

Despite having been disrupted by the pandemic, EPT Prague bounced back in 2022. In total, 1,267 players turned out, setting a new record for the stop.

There are no guaranteed prize pools for EPT events, but turnout has been consistent through the years. The series, though short, also has a densely packed side event schedule, so it’s good for players looking to put in as much volume of play as they can.

Pros

  • Long track record for EPT, Prague as a stop on the tour, and King’s Casino as the venue.
  • Jam-packed side event schedule.
  • Prague has an extremely rich history and offers a different sort of tourist experience than Las Vegas or the Bahamas.

Cons

  • Lower expected turnout and Main Event buy-in than the other series, equating to a smaller probable prize pool.
  • No guaranteed prize pools.
  • EPT tournament fields are typically considered to be tougher than equivalents on other tours.
  • Lousy weather for Prague in December—typically near-freezing and overcast.
  • Online qualifiers unavailable in the US despite PokerStars’ presence.

WPT Global Offers Multiple Qualification Paths for Sophomore WPT World Championship

The WPT World Championship returns to the Wynn for a second year in December.

Summer’s no longer the only time for huge poker tournament series in Las Vegas, as the WPT World Championship is coming back to the Wynn for its second year this December. The World Poker Tour and its online partner WPT Global are aiming to make this series one of the biggest annual events in poker.

The inaugural WPT World Championship guaranteed $15 million and nearly doubled that with a final prize pool of over $29 million.

This year, WPT is setting its sights even higher with a $40 million guarantee. Hitting that lofty target is going to require almost 4,100 entries.

Finding that many players willing to pony up the tournament’s $10,400 buy-in might be difficult. To draw the sort of field they’re looking for, WPT and WPT Global have concocted a wide variety of ways for players to try to win their way into the World Championship through satellites and promotions.

Although it’s only in its second year, the WPT World Championship is already in rare company. Typical WPT events in the $10,000 price range rarely draw much more than 1,000 players. Assuming the World Championship makes its guarantee this year, it will exceed any WPT or EPT field on record and enter territory previously only occupied by the WSOP Main Event.

The World Championship will play out over seven tournament days, culminating in a televised final table on Dec. 21 with what should be at least a $5 million top prize. Starting flights run from Dec. 12-15.

How to Win WPT World Championship Entries

The World Championship caps off a four-week festival at the Wynn, running from Nov. 29 through Dec. 23. Satellites to the Championship will be available throughout.

However, there are even more ways to win an entry on WPT Global. Unfortunately, WPT Global isn’t available to players in the US at the moment, though it may enter regulated states eventually. It does serve 25 countries, however, including Canada (outside Ontario), Ireland, South Africa, and New Zealand.

The WPT Global qualification paths run the gamut from longshot freerolls for casual players to guaranteed entries for the most dedicated players. All options award $12,400 Passports, which include a $2,000 travel allowance in addition to the $10,400 buy-in.

Here are the types of promotions available:

Conventional Online Qualifiers

Naturally, the first way to win your World Championship ticket is the traditional one, through online satellites.

There are direct qualifers running every Sunday with $220 and $1,060 buy-ins. For players on a budget, there are satellites throughout the week feeding into the qualifiers, with a range of buy-ins starting at $5.

First Deposit Offer for New WPT Global Players

New signups to WPT Global will get some free satellite tickets. How many and what kind depends on the amount of the player’s first deposit:

  • $20 to $299: 4 x $5 satellite tickets
  • $300 to $1,199: 1 x $22 satellite ticket, 4 x $5 satellite tickets,
  • $1,200+: 1 x $220 direct qualifier ticket, 1 x $22 satellite ticket, 4 x $5 satellite tickets,

Those tickets are in addition to WPT Global’s standard 100% first deposit match up to $1,200.

Tournament Leaderboards

Multi-table tournament players can win direct, qualifier or satellite entries for their performance. There are three different leaderboards to shoot for:

  • Weekly Tournaments: WPT Global’s regular tournament leaderboard is offering $220, $55, and $22 qualifier/satellite tickets to the top 100 players each week, in addition to the usual cash prizes.
  • Discord Tournaments: Members of the WPT Global Discord channel participate in weekly $10 tournaments each Sunday. The top player each month wins a $12,400 Passport.
  • Fall Festival: WPT’s Fall Festival is running now and continuing through Oct. 1. The leaderboard winner will claim a $12,400 Passport. Meanwhile, event winners and those making final table appearances earn entries to Champion of Champions and Second Chance freerolls for even more ways to win tickets.

Weekly Scavenger Hunt Missions

WPT Global’s Scavenger Hunt promotion offers a weekly freeroll with a $12,400 Passport for the winner. To earn an entry, players must complete all six missions during the week:

  • Deposit $20
  • Play 100 hands of Pot-Limit Omaha (“Low” stakes or higher)
  • Play 200 hands of No-Limit Hold’em (“Low” stakes or higher)
  • Play 20 hands of Poker Flips
  • Play two “Bump It Up” tournaments
  • Play two World Championship qualifiers or satellites

Kings of Cash Freerolls

WPT Global’s ongoing Kings of Cash promotion awards players draw tickets on a daily basis for every 100 hands played during the day.

Those who earn two or more tickets get a freeroll entry, and this is where you’ll find some World Championship qualifier and satellite tickets being awarded. The nice thing here is that by earning your tickets you’ll probably be ticking off at least one of the Scavenger Hunt missions in the process.

PLO Rakeback Offer

High-stakes, high-volume Pot-Limit Omaha players have a way to guarantee themselves a Passport. It’s not for the faint of heart, though, as it requires paying $25,000 in rake at Omaha tables by the end of the day on Nov. 26.

Since the Passport is worth $12,400, that works out to almost 50% in effective rakeback, in addition to the 10% those players will receive from WPT Global’s Milestone Rewards.

WPT World Championship Festival Side Events

Aside from the World Championship, there are almost 30 events on the Festival schedule, plus 20 in-person qualifiers.

Here are some of the most notable side events:

  • Mystery Bounty: WPT has jumped on board this recently popular format with a $1,600 buy-in and three starting flights from Dec. 4 to Dec. 6. It guarantees $2 million in bounties and prizes, and, assuming it receives the requisite entries, will have a top bounty of $100,000.
  • Prime World Championship: Last year, WPT introduced Prime, a lower-stakes version of the tour. It has its own World Championship, with a comparatively affordable $1,100 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed, and four starting flights from Dec. 7 to Dec. 10.
  • Dealer’s Choice: Mixed game players can rejoice at this opportunity to put all their skills to use in this $3,000 buy-in, $200,000 guaranteed event beginning on Dec. 20.
  • The Big One for One Drop: This one’s more of a spectator sport for most of us, but if you want to see some of the biggest names—and biggest whales—in poker play for a million dollars apiece, head to the rail on Dec. 18.

More Money Heading to Partypoker Players As Cashback and Magic Cards Promotions Extended

Partypoker's Boosted Cashback and Magic Cards promotions are offering players have now been extended to July 18.

Partypoker recently announced some extra opportunities at cashback for the site’s players. The Boosted Cashback and Magic Cards promotions have now been extended to July 18.

The features allow players to win cashback and other special prizes. The extension comes after more than 14,000 players scored additional prizes as part of the promotions.

That includes some serious cashback. More than 12,000 players who wouldn’t normally receive payments have earned 10% extra cashback since the promotion began.

[cta id=2392 type=cta]

Details of partypoker’s Boosted Cashback

The recent launch of Boosted Cashback has been popular with cash game players. Players earn 10% extra for every 0.1 cashback point earned.

Two players have even earned more than $1,000 extra as a result. More than 250 players have received $100 or more and another 560 players have received at least $50

In June, partypoker enhanced Boosted Cashback to make the offer even more lucrative for players.  All players need to do is earn 0.1 cashback point or more in a day on any game type.

Partypoker then pays 10% extra cashback on all of their cash game and fastforward rake.

Players would usually be required to earn 25 cashback points to earn 20% cashback. Because of the enhancements, thousands of players who don’t usually earn cashback now qualify.

Players earn one point for every $1 in rake they generate from cash games and fastforward games. They also earn 0.1 points for every $0.10 in rake they generate.

“It’s great partypoker realizes every player is an important player,” Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard said in a news release. “Whether you play once a week, three days a week, or five days a week, we value everyone, so everyone who rakes just $0.10 in a day can now enjoy Boosted Cashback.”

Magic Cards also extended

Partypoker has also extended the Magic Cards promotion to July 18. The site announced recently that the maximum cash prize would be increased from $500 to $1,000.

Magic Cards allow players to go on a poker journey and earn daily picks. Players can use their daily pick to choose one of four cards, which reveal instant prizes including:

  • cash
  • tournament tickets
  • Bonuses
  • freeroll entries

Cash game and fastforward players can currently earn up to five picks per day. They also earn an extra pick for every cashback point they earn from those games.

Partypoker launches ‘fastforward’ mobile, doubles New Year Rush promotion

Partypoker recently released its new fastforward mobile poker experience.

It’s been a busy start to the new year for partypoker. The company has launched a new mobile experience and also upped the ante on its New Year Rush promotion.

This should be good news to cash game players with some quick-paced action and a chance at some nice rewards.

Partypoker adds quickfire card-playing mobile experience

As part of its high-tech mobile experience efforts, partypoker recently launched its new quickfire “fastforward” cash games. The release becomes the next phase in the company’s effort to deliver an engaging and improved mobile experience.

This also following the release of SPINS in November. Players can now play fastforward games in portrait mode across iOS and Android to enable single-handed play. This brings the games in line with SPINS.

“This app brings poker on your phone into the modern age,” partypoker Team Online’s Jaime Staples said.

“The experience of just being able to play with one finger is something I have never had the chance to experience before. It’s so simple and intuitive. It’s by far the best poker app I have played on my phone. So simple to use and fun!”

The update also includes an improved fastforward games lobby, available in carousel or tiled view. This option makes it easier for players to select their game of choice. Players can also now play SPINS and fastforward simultaneously, switching seamlessly between the two.

More Diamonds in mobile additions

Partypoker also recently introduced the “Diamonds” in-game currency, which now is included in fastforward. Diamonds are earned based on the number of hands played and spent on in-game benefits including:

  • bubble chat
  • emojis
  • all-in animations

Players on mobile can also now try out similar features. The company believes it’s created a richer gaming experience with a new suite of graphics, sounds and animations.

Partypoker’s mobile product overhaul continues to serve as a major company focus. The operator will seek feedback from the poker community as it looks to further improve the product. The platform has already been tested by a select group of players in beta mode, including various members of Team partypoker.

“This app changes the poker experience for the user in a big way,” Team Online member Jeff Gross said.

“Mobile poker tech has been archaic, and this makes you really say ‘wow’ when you play it. Refreshing and fun, the biggest shake-up in poker I have seen in a long time.”

Doubling down on partypoker promotion – to $200,000

In other partypoker news, players can now claim their share of $200,000 in prizes as part of the site’s “New Year Rush” promotion. The “Rush” runs through Feb. 2 with the campaign split into four weekly promotional periods.

Players around the world have a shot to claim one of 250,000 cash prizes.

After a nice reaction from players, the weekly prize pool has now been doubled from the opening week. All prizes were snapped up by players early. This increase should provide even more incentive for players to take part.

To be eligible for a daily prize, players simply need to opt in via the partypoker client. Players then need to earn a minimum of 0.2 points at any real money poker table.

Prizes include instant cash rewards from $0.50 to $500. ”Race points” can also be revealed letting players climb weekly $10,000 leaderboards.

Prizes are awarded at random according to players earning the following in a weekly period:

  • 0.2 points to unlock a first card
  • 1.5 points to unlock a second card
  • 3 points to unlock a third card

After the first three cards are claimed, players can unlock additional cards for every 1.5 points earned at the tables. The promotion resets each week.

“New Year Rush is a great way to bring in the new year,” Staples said. “It gives you another reason to get out there and play, with leaderboards offering big prizes to fight for. I love these additional challenges in poker, and they have always motivated me to play hard.”

How Global Poker Heads-Up SnGs Could Mean More Money In Your Pocket

One of the most crucial moments in a poker tournament is the heads-up battle at the end. In that spirit, Global Poker has unveiled a new game variant – Heads-Up Sit N’ Gos, or heads-up SnGs.

The update comes due to the fact that Global Poker has been receiving multiple requests for heads-up poker from its player pool. Heads-up poker exists in a sort of limbo for many tournament players.

On the one hand, tournament players often spend the least amount of time practicing their heads-up poker play. Ironically, however, heads-up play can often generate positive expected value with regard to pay jumps at the end of the tournament.

So, Global Poker’s addition of heads-up poker play is a welcome addition. It will allow players to develop an often overlooked part of their game.

How to play Global Poker’s Heads-up SnGs

Heads-up SnGs are the purest form of 1-on-1 battles for poker players. Each player begins with the same amount of chips, and play proceeds like a normal tournament.

Blinds increase every few minutes, and the game continues until one player has all the chips in play. Unsurprisingly, the payouts are for the victors only.

So, Global Poker’s Heads-Up Sit N’ Gos afford players the option to learn how to play mano e mano from the comfort of their living rooms. As a result, players can develop the skills to make that big pay day jump and take down the hardware.

Find these new tournaments by visiting Global Poker’s Sit-n-Go tab. A quick search should display all the available game options.

Players can choose from a wide variety of buy-in options. Heads-up battles with buy-ins as high as SC$53.50 are available.

For those who might still feel a bit nervous, Global Poker is also offering heads-up SnGs for Gold Coins players. This second currency costs nothing, but will allow players to test their games in a safe environment.

Eat a hoagie with me

For the rest of July, I will be testing my own skills in the heads-up arena. Every Wednesday night, I will be streaming heads up battles on Global Poker through my Twitch stream.

Tune in to watch and learn how the site works. Feel free to ask any questions in chat about the site and games.

As a bonus, I will be giving away free $weeps Cash prizes to followers of the channel that are valid for play on Global Poker’s sister site, Chumba Casino.

Or, if you are brazen enough, you can challenge “ EataHoagie “ to an online heads-up match. Of course, I will stream your eventual defeat, too. See you then!

The Grand Slam Tournament is a feeder series that will put you in the running for a terrific prize package. The series is winding down, but there is still a full weekend of great opportunities ahead of us.

How to participate in the Global Poker Grand Slam Tournament

Here’s how it works.

Players can compete in one of the tournaments specific to the promotion. For every tournament they enter, Global Poker will award an entry into the Tournament Series draw.

This draw will award 3 prize packages to the 2019 MLB All-Star Game weekend. Each package contains the following:

  • Tickets to the four main events at Progressive Field in Cleveland
    • All-Star Celebrity Softball Game – July 7
    • All-Star Futures Game (minor league players) – July 7

    • All-Star Game – July 9
  • Three nights’ accommodation for the nights of July 7 – 9

Bear in mind, there are numerous other attractions during All-Star weekend. The package will also give winners the ability to take part in concerts, commemorative events, and the interactive experience known as Play Ball Park.

As is often the case with Global Poker, there are opportunities to play using either one of their currencies. There are tournaments for both Gold Coins and $weeps Cash.

At present, there are 11 tournaments remaining to play – 6 for $weeps Cash and 5 for Gold Coins. Each tournament will award an entry to the draw to each participant.

Of course, these tournaments are still bona fide tournaments, too. In fact, each one carries a very tasty guarantee, too.

Other ways to qualify for the Tournament Series draw

There is also another way to throw one’s hat in the ring for one of the All-Star Game packages. In fact, players just have to play in ring games to earn an entry into the Tournament Series draw.

Players must only play 1,500 hands before the end of the promotion on July 23. Hands in both currencies qualify.

So, if it wasn’t clear before, it is possible to win an entry into the prize drawing for Gold Coins only. Even if a player has lost all their $weeps Cash at one time or another, they can still play for a chance to see the best in Major League Baseball.

In short, for baseball fans, Global Poker is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s not too late to qualify, so don’t miss out this weekend!

The NJSCOOP Main Events

NJSCOOP has a unique two-tiered system of tournaments to allow play from every level of poker player. So, each event is a pair of tournaments that are designated High and Low.

NJSCOOP’s Main Event is no different. There are two awesome tournaments that bear the name of the top tournament in this series.

The High event is a whopper. The $500 buy-in event will run on Sunday, May 19 at 5:00 p.m. There is a mouth-watering $130,000 guaranteed prizepool with the primo tournament.

For those on a budget, the Low main event only costs $50 to enter. However, players who choose to throw their hats in the ring will compete for at least $40,000. The Low tournament will kick at the same time as the High – 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The other NLHE NJSCOOP events remaining

For those looking for something smaller or a supplement to the main events, there are plenty of other no-limit hold’em events available.

Perhaps the most intriguing of the remaining tournaments is the aptly-named Final Weekend Kickoff. This pair of contests will get things started on the last Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

The High event for the kickoff is a $200 buy-in collision. There will be $17,500 guaranteed in the prizepool, ensuring that there’s plenty to smile about.

The Low event will run concurrently with a scant $20 buy-in. Still, players will be able to compete for $7,500 in this tournament – not too shabby for such a cheap entry fee.

There is also the NJSCOOP Wrap-up that should send everyone out with a smile on their faces. The High and Low iterations of this event are $100 and $10 to enter, respectively. However, they have extremely appealing guarantees, with the High drawing $18,000 and the Low $5,000.

The other other NJSCOOP events remaining

If no-limit hold’em is not your cup of tea, don’t worry. There are still opportunities for players with other games in mind.

The next most popular game after hold’em is likely pot-limit Omaha. So, it figures that any tournament series worth its salt would have some great Omaha events.

NJSCOOP doesn’t disappoint, even on the final weekend. There are a pair of PLO tournaments that will run at the same time on Sunday, May 19, at 8:00 p.m.

The two tournaments come with buy-ins of $150 and $15. The High event will have $12,500 as a guaranteed prizepool, and the Low will carry $2,000. Since Omaha players tend to be a more specialized group, this pair of contests should have certain PokerStars patrons licking their chops.

There is also a mixed event a few hours earlier on that same day. The progressive KO tournaments will require entry fees of $200 or $20. Each tournament will have quite a healthy guarantee, with $14,000 and $4,000, respectively.

Finally, there is also a Stud Hi/Lo event yet to be played. While this game is a bit more esoteric, the combined guarantees of $6,500 are as mainstream as they come.

So, if you were concerned about missing the NJSCOOP this year, never fear – there’s still time. Make sure to check out all the great action this year.
