God of the Arena PKO Series brings plenty of fun

Players can channel their inner Roman God when the God of the Arena PKO Series cranks up April 5-12. The series features 33 tournaments with the $109 Main Event on April 12 offering up a $200,000 guarantee.

Players of all buy-ins will be rewarded however. There is also a $33 Mini Main Event on April 12 with a $50,000 guarantee. The same day also features a $5.50 Micro Main Event with a $15,000 guarantee.

The series kick off this Sunday with five major events:

  • $109 Tune Up – $150,000 guaranteed
  • $22 Mini Tune Up – $40,000 guaranteed
  • $55 Late Tune Up – $30,000 guaranteed

PKO stands for progressive knockout and the tournaments have grown in popularity recently. In this type of bounty tournament, a player’s bounty increases as they progress through the event.

When a player knocks out another player, he receives a portion of the eliminated player’s bounty. The other portion is added to the price on that winning player.

The deeper a player goes, the more the bounties are worth. The PKO format adds some extra fun to a bounty tournament. Here’s a complete God of the Arena PKO Series schedule:
