Michael Mizrachi is a longtime poker professional, known for his aggressive style of play based more on reading his opponents than pursuing “theoretically optimal” strategy.

Known as “the Grinder,” he’s the younger brother of Robert Mizrachi, who taught him to play.

Mizrachi cemented his place in the Poker Hall of Fame with an incredible run at the 2025 World Series of Poker that included winning both the Poker Players’ Championship and the Main Event. Typically, the Hall of Fame inducts only one new player each year, but existing members voted to make an exception for Mizrachi’s unprecedented performance.
