Many Hard Rock properties host live poker events, most notably the annual Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open at its flagship property in Miami.
It has recently branched out into online gambling with Hard Rock Bet. The Florida version of its sports betting site was the subject of an important, years-long legal battle that helped to establish the validity of the “Florida model” of tribal online gambling. This defines the “location” of a bet to be where it is received, allowing tribes to offer online gambling to players state-wide as long as their servers are on their own land.
