GGPoker has been the biggest international online poker room by traffic since 2022. It first took the title from PokerStars in 2021 and traded it back and forth a few times before claiming the lead for good the following year.
It is known for huge tournament guarantees and high stakes events, but also for policies meant to protect recreational players at lower stakes.
Since 2024, it has been the owner of the World Series of Poker brand, which it bought from Caesars. Although WSOP-branded sites in the US remain on the 888poker platform and controlled by Caesars, GGPoker now hosts WSOP’s online bracelet events in other jurisdictions and powers the WSOP.com site in Ontario, Canada.
